Andy Cook brings a wealth of business and retail experience to this role. He has been CEO of Channel Island Lines since 2014 and is continually growing the business and improving the freight offering to clients. He regularly meets key clients, suppliers and engages in the strategic change in freight operations.
Richard ParkerOperations Director
Richard comes from a strong retail operations background and is Operations Director with responsibility for "on-island activities". Richard leads the Health & Safety standards of the organisation and is responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to and are kept up-to-date. He also leads the development of real-time operational systems development.
Nick GibsonSouthampton Director
Nick has worked in Channel Island shipping for 40 years. He is based at the Southampton depot and leads the team that ensures all cargo is received and manifested, and safely loaded for onward shipping. Nick is responsible for all aspects of the terminal activity, including our obligations under the UK Department of Transport, and ship management. Nick also engages with key clients.
Nigel ParrySales Manager
Nigel brings a wealth of experience from the retail sector and his main role within Channel Island Lines is to liaise with existing and new clients which includes tendering for new business. Nigel works closely with John and Shane ensuring that customers' freight is managed smoothly and efficiently. Nigel is also responsible for liaising with major accounts.
John YeomanSales & Customer Services
John has been in the freight business for over 15 years. John is regularly quoting for new business as well as managing existing accounts, some of which involves pricing and arranging International customs paperwork and deliveries, for both general cargo and hazardous goods.
Shane CoupelSales & Customer Services
With over 25 years in freight logistics, Shane has worked in every aspect of this industry. Shane's network of contacts, including UK and Europe road hauliers ensures that Channel Island Lines customers receive the best prices and top service.
Chris ParkinSales & Customer Services - Guernsey
Chris is the newest member of the Sales and Customer Service team and leads our customer engagement in Guernsey. Having been in Sales most of his working career, he brings his extensive local knowledge and contacts with him. He spends most of his time visiting existing and new clients.
Charles TaverSales & Customer Services
Charles is based in Southampton and specialises in shipping agricultural goods for the large farming community across the Channel Islands. Over the years Charles has built up a good understanding of both supplier and customer needs and of the correct way to handle and ship agricultural goods to ensure they arrive safely and on time.
Marcus JobGeneral Manager - Guernsey
Marcus is responsible for our overall Guernsey operations with teams at both the port and the warehouse.
Marcus works to ensure that difficult operational issues are resolved and will support existing clients and customer enquires to achieve their desired goals.
Mark Le BrocqJersey Operations Manager
Mark oversees the loading and unloading of freight onto the quay in Jersey. His considerable experiences allows him to arrange the transport of awkward loads that require specific road permissions and permits. He also manages all company equipment, ensuring that they are regularly serviced and fit for purpose.
Paul PatrickSouthampton Operations Manager
Paul leads the day to day operation of our Southampton depot, ensuring the smooth running of receiving and unloading of vehicles that are making deliveries/collections.
Marc MyersJersey Assistant Freight Administrator
Marc communicates with customers to advise on GST requirements, where applicable, and to arrange deliveries. Marc also arranges for Northbound goods to be shipped and manages the collation of proof of delivery (POD's).
